Welcome
Welcome to our wonderful family and friends. We are so excited to share our wedding day with you! It's hard to put into words how grateful we are that you are coming all the way to Greece to be with us for our special day. After nine years together and five years engaged, we don’t quite believe it’s happening!
We hope that this website will give you easy access to information about the wedding day.
Please contact us if you have further questions.

Ceremony
The wedding ceremony will be held at approximately 5:00pm on Cameo Island on Friday 4th July. The irony of the date is not lost on us! Please note there is a walk across a wooden bridge to reach Cameo Island and some stone steps to walk up. You may wish to consider this when choosing footwear. It is not suitable for prams or pushchairs – they may have to be carried if you are bringing them for later in the evening. Those with small children may also need to carry them for part of the way.

We have the venue for approximately 2 hours. We will then head to the wedding reception venue for the remainder of the evening.

Reception
The wedding reception will be held at Vezalis beach bar. Guests will be transported from Cameo Island to the reception. There will be a barbeque and bar. The reception venue is beach-side. We have been told that if the children (or adults!) fancy a dip, this is OK and you can bring a towel. However, the venue staff have told us that there is strictly no water or sand allowed in the inside reception area.

Transport to the ceremonyTransport to the ceremony venue will be provided from a central point in Tsilivi. Further details will follow. Guests will also be transported from Cameo Island to the wedding reception at Vezalis Beach. *** Transport from the wedding reception back to your accommodation will need to be arranged by guests. We will be able to provide more information about local taxi companies closer to the date. We note that guests may wish to leave at different times. Currently we have the venue booked until midnight, but this may change to later*** Tsilivi where most people are staying, is approximately 8 miles from the wedding and reception venues. It is approximately a 25 minute journey.

Photographs and Social MediaWe kindly ask that you don't post any photographs or videos from the wedding ceremony on social media, thank you. Please feel free to take photos - we would love to see them all after the holiday!
-
GiftsWe know that you are a generous bunch! However, after nine Valentine's Days, Christmas's and birthdays, we have no need for any wedding gifts - you have already given us the best gift by coming to the wedding.

Dress Code and FootwearWriting this in January from the UK, it's hard to fathom how hot it will be at the time of the wedding. On 4th July 2024, it was a sweltering 38 degrees in Zante. Please dress for the weather and for comfort. There is no need for full suits, ties or formal shoes. We want you to be as comfortable and cool as possible. Think short sleeves, floaty dresses, cool fabrics etc. As mentioned, there is a bit of walk to get to Cameo Island, so please consider this when choosing footwear.
-
What to bring on the dayWe suggest bringing sun cream and anything else that will help you to keep cool (hats, hand-held fan, bottle of water for the journey to the venue).

Local ActivitiesHave a look on Trip Advisor for a multitude of fun stuff to do during your trip. We have planned a turtle spotting, sea-kayaking trip and a visit to the water park in Tsilivi. Of course, everyone is welcome but doing absolutely nothing on a sandy beach with crystal clear water may be more appealing. Additional Events
We are planning the following activities/events during the time we are staying in Zante. We know that many of you will be enjoying a much-needed holiday whilst you're in Greece so there is no pressure to come to any of these events if you are enjoying peace and quiet!
Dinner Invitation
We will be meeting at the Avli Taverna, kindly recommended by Steve, on Wednesday 2nd July 7:30pm. If you would like to join us, please can you let Jess or James know as we need to give the venue numbers. We know not everyone will arrive in time for this, but all are welcome and there's a small play area for children.

Beach Gathering
We are planning to meet on Tsilivi beach on Saturday 5th July in the afternoon. We would love to see you all before you go home, if you're not too fragile from the previous night's partying.
Boat Trip
We’ve booked a snorkel and turtle spotting boat trip on the morning of Sunday 6th July, you’re all welcome to join us! It’s a great chance to enjoy some time in the water and see some turtles up close. If you’re interested, we’d love to have you with us! This is a public tour so we can't guarantee space.
